Agency Profile

General Information

Agency Name:
Bryan Animal Center
Description:
Volunteers are a vital part of Bryan Animal Center. Center staff are often busy caring for the basic needs of the many animals that come into their care, and so it is often the volunteers who are able to give that extra needed attention and care that the homeless pets at the Center need and deserve. We ask that you obey all rules and procedures for the safety of our animals, but most importantly for the safety of you, our volunteer. We do ask that you wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, at least ankle-length, to protect your body. Opportunities for volunteers depend upon what type of volunteer (Traditional or court-appointed) you are, your age, and skill/comfort level.

Traditional Volunteer Hours: Monday and Saturday 8am-4pm, Tuesday-Friday 8am-6pm, Sunday 9am-11am
Court-Appointed Volunteer Hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-12pm and Sunday 9am-11am
