Assemble Family Boxes or Senior/Children Bags

Summary of Opportunity:

Create Family Boxes:
A family box is assembled from an assortment of canned goods products such as peanut butter, canned fruits and veggies, and shelf stable milk. Family boxes are distributed out through Mobile Food Pantries, partner agencies and, in emergencies, at BVFB.

Assembly BackPacks for Kids and Senior Bags:
The BackPack and Senior Bag programs provide BackPacks and/or Senior Bags filled with nutritious, ready-to-eat food every Friday to chronically hungry children at local elementary schools or low-income seniors, to get supplemental meals for over weekend. We need volunteers to assemble BackPack or Senior Bag items
