Description:

We are an area-wide, volunteer-based, non-profit organization that supports families by providing shelter, meals and support services to homeless families. We provide a safe environment in which families can stay together and become self-sufficient. The program is affiliated with the nationwide Family Promise in Summit, New Jersey. In 1992, Family Promise was awarded one of twenty-one Points of Light by then-President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to help homeless children and their families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Our Vision is a nation in which every family has a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future together.
