Description:

The Academy for Visual and Performing Arts at Texas A&M University provides arts opportunities to students, faculty, and staff of Texas A&M University as well as the larger Bryan/College Station community. The AVPA is dedicated to providing quality performances and impactful educational experiences for Texas A&M students. It primarily produces guest artist residencies and public performances to support faculty research and curriculum development relating to our mission. The AVPA is governed by a 12 member Advisory Board.

Mission Statement:

The AVPA increases resources to existing TAMU performing and visual arts departments; supplements existing campus arts offerings by producing diverse, innovative, and prominent performing and visual artists.
