The Leach Teaching Gardens are named for our lead donors, Amy and Tim Leach, and comprise Phase I of The Gardens construction. The Gardens opened in June, 2018. With more than seven acres for both outdoor teaching and demonstrations, this area is one of the nation's premier teaching gardens. We highlight Texas native and adapted plant and pollinator species and offer preschool to adult education opportunities.
