City Year AmeriCorps members serve as student success coaches, helping students build on their strengths and cultivate social, emotional and academic skills that are important in school and life. City Year AmeriCorps members receive robust training to develop their skills in the classroom and beyond. These learning experiences can follow many different formats, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning, practical exercises, on the job experience and continual coaching and feedback throughout your service year.

(Howdy! This is a paid full-time opportunity that also gives you access to health, dental, and vision insurance. You will also be eligible to earn graduate school scholarships. This is a best fit for y'all ready for a gap year after graduation. We serve in 21 states and 29 cities across the country. Either give back to your home city or use it as an opportunity to make a move. I did the program myself and moved from Michigan to Dallas to serve as a mentor.
