Alzheimer's Association Brazos Valley Intern

Summary of Opportunity:

The Alzheimer's Association Intern will provide support for chapter program and services through program assistance. During this paid internship, the intern will gain experience working in the non-profit sector while furthering the Association's mission.

• Serve as back-up greeter/receptionist for the Alzheimer's Association Brain Health Collaborative building
• Assist Volunteer, Education, and Early Stage Program Managers with program needs and project development
• With staff help, lead Chapter Education presentations as-needed
• Prepare information packets for helpline mailings to clients
• Represent organization at health fairs and informational sessions
• Work with staff to check-in, greet, and coordinate community education presentations and special events

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in public health, education, public relations, marketing, communication or related field
