Description:

The DSABV helps to enrich the lives of our local Down syndrome community and their families. Some of the ways we work to do this are: offering classes in reading, math, handwriting, sign language, music, computers, fitness, and nutrition/cooking; stipends to summer camps; parent support; local educational workshops with national experts; social events; and a resource library.

Mission Statement:

To equip our members with the tools and experiences that will lead them to their highest level of independence and productivity and to support the families therein. Additionally, to enhance public awareness and promote acceptance of the abilites and gifts of people with Down syndrome.
